20' cigarette question

My 1972 Allmand has a HIN # but it is a metal tag and not something cast into the boat. Its the only 1972 that I have saw that has a factory number. The rest just had a state issued number on the title. Like my 1959 Biesemeyer made in Arizonan with a FLA (Florida) HIN number.

For what it's worth, there was indeed another boat made with that hull and deck in the 70's - I've got a pic of the ad for them somewhere. Hull and deck are identical, but it has a flat hatch as I remember, not a raised one like the cigs. So finding one with a missing or modified hatch, or flat hatch is the only thing I would worry about.
