Nope, don't believe they did.
There was a 22' classic with outboard power but only one. Mixed reports that it may not have been well balanced. Everyone says the 22 is a 'driver's boat' so maybe the 22 outboard was just too much of a 'driver's boat'..........

Right here on the wonderful OSO!

And post #19 on S&F, maybe it was prop/height problems not balance...
http://www.screamandfly.com/showthre...rd-Donzi/page2
Come on, just build one, you know you want to.

Back around 1973 when OMC amazed the boating world and introduced the V6 outboard they sent out a large poster to their dealers , there was one on the wall of the shop where I worked back then . It showed 2 C18's , one yellow and one red running next to each other powered by the new V6 engine . History has shown that they were obviously special one off boats as there never was a production outboard C18

Looks like an I/O that was converted to an O/B as I can't see any engine well .

Round keel?
I know the 22 had a round keel, but thought the 18 was a V ?

The original 18 Barrelback had the sharp V keel and full length strakes . Sometime around '67 or so a re-design was done and the boat got the round keel and short inner strakes we're now familiar with .
