https://detroit.craigslist.org/mcb/boa/6020038830.html

This could be cool with a all white paint job and some reworked interior with sit down seating and center throttles.

Velocity 22 would be perfect, but it would be too fast for anyone.

I agree a 22 velocity would be perfect. I had one set up to race A-class back in the early 90's. It was the old Team Gulfwind boat and had an Alpha SS on the back with 36" velocity tabs. With a 500hp smallblock turning 7200rpm it was running 94mph and we won a few races against the bigger boats. It's actually how I ended up racing for Velocity Powerboats, Beat Steve Stepp, in Key West, in a 22' while he was racing his 26 Velocity.

Before I Sold it, I put full interior and a 425hp 400ci small block in it. Still ran 84mph on radar.

Depending on your HP and drive, the 22 Velocity is much more stable at 100+mph than a Donzi or Scarab. You can also find them on craigslist fairly cheap.

That would be one fun project!

Don't know how the Alpha would like it but it's a zero hour and I think mountain madness said he was around 575 horse with his alpha.

Yours sounds like it may have a little more oomph .

Baronmarine on here has my old Baron I sold him years ago. He has a Arneson with a mild 383 that runs mid 70s.

He says he wants to go back to a outdrive for the fun factor of how these boats run a little Loose with them.

I think he told me a 6 pack of Pabst and the Arneson is mine.

I have brand new tailpipes for the CMI s both lengths for either bravo/alpha or a transmission drive / TRS or Arneson .

Up in Grand Rapids now and for the summer
