Thanks, I just opened them and was enjoying the great looking boat. You have a great looking original boat and it must be wonderful to cruise around in a classic? Enjoy and thanks again.

You could probably have a late 1971? I have seen the 1971 Formula brochures and these boats were not featured.
I also went into old 1971 and 1972 Yachting and Motorboat Magazines and the 177 and 190 was always featured as a 1972 and discontinued in 1973.
I could be wrong but have never been fortunate to talk or correspond with anyone that was an authority on these models and years.
Actually, when I originally sent photos to Formula they said the Formula 190 was not a Formula. They were very little help as all the information they have was based on 1976 and later. Vic Porter purchased Thunderbird/Formula from Fuqua in 1976.
Please send more details about your boat. It looks to be a very rare specimen.
