Question Poll 300xs vs 350sci

I know 90% what I am putting on the back of the 36. But would like to here some input from other Concept owners if they had a choice, what would you do?

Tripple 300xs or Twin 350sci ? And why ?

Twin 300xs would be my choice...
I just couldn't justify $48k for the two 350sci and weight.
Save $18k and go with the proven 300xs

The price is about the same for each setup, I would be going with 3 300xs vs 2 350 verados. So it will coast the same money.I was just thiking speed, handling of boat, and resale.

300XS for you and 350V for resale

4 strokes are the future and trip boats don't fare do well on re-sale.

That being said- resale sucks on most boats and trips rock so go with trip 300XS's! You can get an additional 2 year warranty on the XS's from Merc Racing these days as well.

350V is a Merc Racing product as well so if going that route opt for the 300's for the 5 year warranty. 100lbs more for 150HP is nice but 2 extra years of nothing to worry about is nicer.

Next question I have been pricing out external steering and wow very expensive.Do you need it on a boat that only goes 75- 78 mph?

Ok now I understand. But I would go with 300xs tripps...

IMHO Yes I would. At 75 there should be NO room for steering issues..period.

Triples seem to be a lot of weight and 350's seem to be a lot of money. Twin 300V is the way I would go. Just my .02
