Concept w/ arch in So Jersey?
Not looking to buy.
I am looking for a CC w/ a arch (& Bimini) just to check out ...for my own current build.
I am at the point of T-top or arch, and leaning toward an arch.
Up to now, only seen pics. Not to mention, online pics stink.
Thnx in advance...I'll bring the coffee....

Thanks for the response & pic offer. (I'm actually headed to Chesapeake on business Sunday for most of the week).
Anywho, I'm interested in how high the arch is (overhead height), how forward it is in relation to helm,
the fastening to the cap especially.
I was also wondering if the Concept pulls the skier/tube from the arch, as I plan too.
Are you happy w/ the Bimini? adequete shade coverage? Anything about the arch needs improving/changing?
Again, excuse the questions, I admit I'm a newb to this feature. But other than a wakeboard boat, I've yet to even see an arch, and here I am installing one on my restoration....

I love the Bimini, very sturdy with few rattles, coverage is great, ill take some measurements to see where it's located in relation to the helm. My topside is about 1.5"-2" thick so they definitely beefed it up to hold the arch, no stress cracks after 12 yrs. it's through bolted with 4-5 bolts and a backing plate.
I'll post a couple pics that I have

Thanks for the pics...great looking boat. Same colors I'm planning.
I reckon you pull a skier from the arch since the engines are in the way of a traditional ski hook?
If so, how does the towline miss the bimini?
If I had to guess I'd say a smidge over 7' from the deck?
Looks like the leading edge of the arch is at the front of the console front highest point?
I'm thinking about pinning the aft verticals, and hinging the fronts, so to pivot it down....dont know if thats been done or not.

I havent pulled any skiers or wakeboards just a tube, I used the old fashion harness with my stern eye hooks, it wasnt ideal with the rope so low, it would get stuck on the wake and spray the tubers but they were kids so they didnt mind. You may want to look at a removable pole/pylon at the transom? If you hook to the arch you may want some cables or something going forward, it's probably not too much stress on it but you never know.
The front of the arch is just about equal with the windshield, and is about 7' off the deck, I'll take some measurements, I have seen folding arches somewhere,

I'm molding in some angled engine vents between the cap & transom, and I didnt want to complicate even further with a pylon. (I'm going I/O)
This combined with the spray (and the desire for shade) had me pulling the rope from the T-top/arch.
We started making the template for the cap today, and will most certainly add extra coring & glass from the transom to midships for the arch. The thought of glassing in the backing plate is also a option.
Thanks again-
