Question Who Knows the Story on this 36?

Any of my fellow OSO'ers know any stories on this boat? It has LA numbers and is in the panhandle of FL currently. Already talked to the factory so I know from 2008/9 time frame but nothing more. Heard it may have sucked up some water which apparently Vrods can do if shifted too quickly from forward to reverse. Any info that anyone knows would be appreciated.

Also, if anyone is in the Destin, FL area I would appreciate it some could do a fly by and put eyes on it.

Thanks,
Dave

Lowers had a ton of issues. Owner is certainly not very forthcoming AT ALL.

Didn't most Verado's with the old lowers have issues also?

Default 36

What are you seeing as a good price range for 36's? I see between 60-80 for 2005-2008 and don't see any 2009. I think the twin engine is the best way to go based on what I read and friends that have them say. I'm sure you see more down your way than I do in Va Beach.

Cash Bar - have you checked out the 2005 in Key Largo? Looks a little more weathered but might be a good deal and send it to factory for a refresh.

The guys at boats direct are good. Especially Anthony.

I wasn't really into the CC thing but that Triples boat got my attention. Passing urge that is back to faster boats now.

Thanks. Was communicating with Virgil over at Boat Direct on a 38 Fountain CC but couldn't get them to get me more pics or details... Guess they don't want to sell a boat.

Thanks for the info Greg - Dave

It's a good boat but needs work to make it great. A good possibility with the right amount of tlc. For the right price it's a good project that can be returned to like new.

Owner is a bit disconnected with reality
