first thread for the CPBA
Well many of you have already been posting in the north east section on the CPBA thread but we have made the big time now.
We officially have our own forum section on OSO!!!
Little by little we have been making strides and this club is coming around. This is just one more step to getting the club to be a very solid and long lasting entity.
Thank you OSO for your support!

I am supreised it runs better. High Octane is a funny thing. It usually has a slower burn rate which can actually make a lower compression engine run less efficiently.
a higher compression engine will run better if it needs a reduced burn rate.
airplane fuel is also made to run in a specific and narrow RPM band. It was always explained to me( by New england race fuels) to be higher rpm fuel but a recent article I read says lower RPM. so who knows whats correct.
It hard to belive they will sell it because with the new laws since 911 they are supposed to be keeping tabs on every gallon of AV fuel that goes out the door.

CPBA performance update from Branford....
the blue 21 Sutphen was spotted in Branford Harbor over the Weekend...
Brett's "Sewfast" was seen in it's hanger in E.Haven...
There are rumors that a smaller performance v flipped/sank in Branford
on Sunday, but they are unconfirmed...
Finally, we scored some fresh lobsters on Sunday, and with a stop at a local farm market...wrapped up the evening with a 7 kid, 4 adult...private lobster bake..
summer rules..

No poker run for us. It is $500 to sign up with membership and all then a 75 mile run with no stops or lunch just card boats, We figured we would take that $500 and go have a big time somewhere and drink and eat like Vikings! We walk around or take a cab up the hill.
