apparently Moses is counting Ph uck in Pennies or something all of a sudden. Maybe he should be the treasurer?

I knew it spelled trouble when he didnt show up for the GTG.LOL

Seriously guys whats a $100 to $125 bucks to be in an event? Are we that POV these days?

I didnt see anyone missing the pavillion run for that amount of GING a ling but for your own club your POV.

Do you FEEL CHEAP!
our boat and crew would be in for $100-$125 but I just thought we may get more participation if it were a lower fee. look at the minimal participation at the pavilion run. There were only like 15 boats.

keep in mind this money has to cover: insurance, food, and prize money at a minimum.

where are you looking for stops? they need to be advised so docking is available

Maybe if it was easer for us guys with small single engine boats .Then going all over out in the sound and didnt have to worry about current and the waves.I bet a lot more boats would enter a poker run of some sort.

agreed but people are gonna want to open up and put the hammer down at some point during the run. that is impossible in the river especially with floating debris, other boaters, dep, wake zones, etc.

we all know satisfying everyone will be impossible so we have to pick and choose our battles.

like i said i am all for a $100 entry but you have to keep in mind that it has to be an all inclusive price meaning food, entry, etc. even with 10 boats thats only $1000. that doesnt go far now adays.

What was the pavillion run $140? $150? I cant remember.

we have CLUB members there no reason some cant volunteer to a do a little cooking for the event and keep it inexpensive

In fact if this club truely wanted to make some money for itself I have some Ideas we used in my frat and some from a car club we used before that brought in HUGE money BUT you need the participation of members as volunteers who are willing to contribute to the club!

This club could own its own marina in a few years if the members actually worked together to get ahead.

Think of the benefits of that!

well i would expect everyone from the club to volunteer but that doesnt pay for insurance, food, purse, giveaways, etc.

Any chance we can get turboeddie in his helicopter to attend? that would be a nice selling point. we can take pictures and video for people. Charge people $10 or $20 a picture and $25 for a compiled video. That could make the club money. We could kick back some loot to turbo for his fuel.

I would ask him and I am sure hed help out the club.

Hes gotta be careful of payment cause hes not a comercial pilot I dont think.

Id have to consult with him first before we did anything.

As for volunteer I meant for some other Ideas I have that could bring in way more $$ than the runs would.

Ill discuss that further when we have a meeting.

Dont worry its ALL mostly legal.LOL

No I was gonna have you do it, and sell your ______ too!

Nah very simple strategy that would be allot of fun for the guys volunteering and will build comeraderie in the club at the same time.

Not that we need any team building here in THIS club
