Previously had one,,1997 24' Extreme with a 500hp, it was the test boat/photo shoot boat for the Jan 97 issue of Hot Boat Magazine,,excellent quality, stupid fast for what it was(honest 80mph boat),,I just thought it would be bigger, bought site unseen from Dave,,probably one of the few if any that ever found it's way to Florida.

I don't have one but sure do like one in the classifieds. It's the 34 with Teague motors.....Why are these boats not holding their values? The 29 and 32's are very popular but not the 34 - is there a problem with the bottom.
The ad for this 34 boat I am looking at says it has the "bottom mod" - Any help would be great.

Yeah, the 34 bottom had issues and has been re-tooled several times. The 29 and 32 cats are great running boats.
I looked at DCB when we lived in San Diego and they are top notch!!!

I had my 24 for app 3yrs and the only problem I ever had wasn't the boat, it was the Extreme trailer, I had to take the dropped axles off the trailer and install straight axles, the trailer would drag breaking over on the ramps because it sat so low.

Schweeng, The 34 with the upgraded bottom is a great hull. It will cruise over very rough water. It is a true deep tunnel. The construction and rigging is as fine as you will find. Looks stunning as any cat bar none. Look down the sides and it puts MTI to shame.
