Default Dcb m29

Hey guys, Im visitor from over on the Skater thread. Love your boats by the way. I was wondering if anybody has any idea how that M29 with the Merc 400R twins has run. Ive been following it on River Daves Place and it seems like the info has stalled. Figured I'd come over here and ask. You all getting psyched for Summer. I know I am. Thanx Steve.

Looks like from RDP they are still working on set up. They say 108 which is about 10mph faster than the same boat with the 300's. I would have expected more, but 110 in stock outboard is not too bad of an option. I'm not sure how that 29 was built but my 32 is no lightweight. It will be interesting to see how much faster the Skaters will be with the 400's

Thanx Ski for the update, I would think that if they're still running those bravo 1s they should be able to get a bit more out of her with a different set of props. I also wonder about how the motors break in. Is it possible for them to get a bit better once they're are broken in or are they already to run when they get them.
