And the winner is...Blueabyss...and me, as it was not a major deal.

Pulled the dist cap and there was a large build up of white powder like stuff and moisture. Spoke to a MSD tech and he said these distributors need to have a couple of vent holes in the cap to keep condensation from building up and causing mis-firing. Mine were compleatly sealed up.
