blower surge question

Hi I put pro charger on my 502 mpi and am having a problem with the motor surging a few hundred rpm at idle. One of my buddies thought it might be a vacum leak causing it, just wanted some opinions.
specs:
stock 502 mpi
aeromotive a1000 fuel pump
pro charger fuel regulator
5lbs of boost intercooled
computer reflashed by precision marine

I am no pro but I had a Vortec on a carb'd 509 @ 10 psi intercooled, no surge at all. I don't think that it is normal for a centrifical to have surge.

little cat...BIG MOTOR
Idle surge is most often an over rich condition. Blower or not.

I have heard it is typical on roots type blowers... mine does it.... I have TBS 250's and they roll about 200-300 rpm at idle... you can adjust some of it out but that is just their nature.

Check this out... this one is rolling about 250 rpm's....
