Full Encased Spark Plugs-RUST

Need Help.

Seems I had a exhaust water leak above spark plugs.

The spark plugs are fully encased in rust. I cannot even get a socket in to the hole where the plugs are.
You cannot even see the spark plug nut dimensions. The hole/slot is fully covered in rust.

I have tried
Vinegar
CLR
Tiny screw driver
penetrating lube

????????????????????????????????????????????

Thanks for the help
SHU

You're probably going to have to pull the heads. But you might want to try snapping off the porcelain and trying to easy out them.

If the boat is running good......don't worry about changing them

If there is no hex left on the plug, it's going to tough. I just removed one with the head off by drilling it until it collasped. Then removed it, ran a 14 mm plug tap through it. If you have more than one take the head off, to be honest with you, I would remove the head you are going to be fighting angles and working up-side down along with metal entering the cylinder. Most likely the centers are going to blow out!

Theye is a socket called a Speed Socket. inside the socket when looking into it as if to see the hex part its no longer a hex but 6 sharp shaped edges that are modled in a curve. I use these in my shop all the time to get of Nissan and toyota nuts and bolts that no long have a head left to them. These are your best best in getting that out with out yaking that head.
Good luck and if oyu cant find them let me know i can send you a link to them with out a prolem.

TRY 2 LBS OF TNT AND A SLOW BURNING FUSE,THEN RUN AWAY REAL FAST,YOUR SPARK PLUG ISSUE WILL BE GONE,LOL,JUST KIDDING,TRY SPRAYING THE PLUG AREA WITH RUSTBUSTER FOR 2 WEEKS,SPRAY EVERYDAY,IF YOU STILL CANT GET IT OUT,REMOVE THE HEAD.

I have a craftsman set of those...very rarely have to use them, but when you do need to, they work miracles!
