What is the position of the holes on the restricted gasket ? Is it port and starboard or bow to stern positioning that is open for water flow ?

They should only go on one way. I believe they are a bit longer then wider.

correct on his, rectangle shape, was just asking if the holes are side to side or front to rear !

the restricted holes are front and rear.

So he could open say the front hole and increase the cooling water flow overall. thanks
