If you have a stock 454, 502 you are throwing your money away on exspensive oils. Shell rotella 15-40 diesel oil is what I use and the oil still looks golden this summer. Dont skimp on oil but dont get blinded by lables.

I was more concerned with the lack of zinc in a non roller application, I have actually had Really good luck with synthetic oils, mostly Mobil 1 in several automotive applications, thanks to ALL for the input

Mobil says that, due to overwhelming consumer requests, Mobil one 15w50 will be available again at all Walmart stores in 5-quart containers in March of 2012.

Not here. I have checked and the Walmart auto parts mgr didn't know anything about when or if they were getting it.

Mobil 1's website does say that the 15w-50 in 5qt jugs is a Walmart exclusive product and it should start being stocked at Walmart again in March 2012.

I just got quarts at Advanced Auto. Its on sale for $32.99 for 5 qts and a Mobil 1 filter.

Yes I have been buying it for a couple of months. They also put the turbo diesel back on the shelf. I live in Indianapolis. You might just ask at the customer service counter and even mension that you know other Walmarts are carying it. If you have digs in Florida I can hook you up because I just drove down about a dozen of each (15w-50 and turbo diesel).

I've asked at a couple local Walmarts and they are clueless. I could not find it on the Mobile 1 website. Anyone have a link?
