I have an 03 6.2, is there any cross reference in the auto world for the Iac or do I have to get one from Mercury.

Be sure to compare them carefully. I bought a ford iac, and found the connector was different and it was turned 180*. No way it could be used even with the right connector. I have 496 Mag HO's.

I havent had good luck grossing Merc part numbers but I have had some success with crossing Quick Sliver or Sierra part numbers. I usually start with Google and find the Merc number and work backwards towards NAPA. This holds true for many of the bolt on parts. Good luck.
