Default weiand 177 blower, worth it?

Got a chance to pick one up that has just been re-sealed?

With 2 lower manifolds, belts, pulleys, etc....

$1000 or $1500 with a new 1050 dominator and adaptor

Is this a decent price first of all, second what percentage power gain is this blower good for?

It would need paint or powder coating as it is poorly painted right now. Thoughts please!

Thats a good price especially with the carb. You can get 70hp easy 100 pushing the blower speed up.

It's not for my scarab. I actually came acrossed another Baja 226 I might be picking up. $800 for the boat with 454 mag and bravo (under 50 hrs, guy has reciepts from install) and new interior.

He had some deal go wrong with his storage and divorce and is now racking up fines for the boat....figured I might not be able to pass it up. Only bad thing is bottom paint. And pink/teal color scheme.

Anyway, I thought it might be a fun little hot rod.
