    Which sea water pump

So I am going to preventively replace my impeller on my Bravo I this year. How can I tell which sea water pump I have? I keep seeing parts for one piece, two piece, some kits have housing some do not and some have 3-4 gaskets while others one.

I do have the fuel pump mounted to it.

Go to the dealer and tell them Bravo seawater pump. They only make one, bring a $100 bill.
Make sure you change the oil in the fuel mounted pump when you have it off.

I did mine last year and it cost me about $45 for a seal kit and impeller (x2). They're easy to do although I have MPI's so can't relate to how tight things are down there. Make sure you grease up the impeller and case!

Back to the OP's question, the kit referenced has both a plastic housing and impeller. Does the housing need to be replaced every time or can just the impeller/seal be changed?

I have a bronze housing on the MC so its only a quick impeller change there.

just the impeller needs to be replaced and the seal. They sell those impellers just about anywhere check ebay , i never pay more than about 20 bucks for one. I have used quick silver and sierra impellers with no issues.

Go here choose your engine than find the part number. Copy and past the part number into ebay or google and youll find what you need. Or go to the marina and pay double.
