rams should be fine...there are some specs you can modify a car pump to make work..but the marine pump is WAY different..as I found out...AGR makes the custom marine pumps...they have more PSI at lower speeds and less pressure at higher RPM as well as a bearing on the shaft instead of a bushing...

if you have to change hoses, do yourself a big favor and have them made locally with press on ends..you won't be sorry...
