Dean has built me two . One custom made for my 383 and the other for my HP500 . Both have performed flawlessly and i am well pleased . Both were Stage V works of art . Both engines fire and run like fi .

Mike built the engines himself. I was there for the dyno session. Those quick fuel carbs were pretty much spot on out of the box. Just over 1200hp on 93 octane , idle like a dream, and snap your neck back when he puts the throttles down . So Yes, they do run.

I'm sorry. I thought you were asking a legit question about quick fuel carbs. When in fact your carrying out your issue with Mike now in the tech section, and obviously calling me a liar while your at it.

Mike may not have the best grammar, and may not have been blessed with working in a office environment before he retired. He was too busy as a EMT and a fireman in between racing boats and building blown alcohol engines on the side.

Call him a dumbass, stupid, whatever you like. I know he is honest as the day is long when it comes to money, and doing the right thing. He must not be as dumb as you think, considering he's rocking a 120+mph 38 Vee bottom, and a 130mph cat.

So who built the power in your 87 Baja? Hows that thing run?
