Bummer she started knocking. Nothing worse than a wrench thrown into the mix. Good news is ,internal engine parts are cheap. Just a PITA to get to.

Yea I pulled her out it ended up spinning a main bearing and two rod bearings. burnt an exhaust valve and all the intake valves were kissing the pistons. It all looked clean inside and looked like it was just rebuild. Whoever built the motor didn't have a clue. And it had a solid camshaft in it. I ended up buying another motor and slapping new rings and bearings in it and a roller camshaft in it and have had it out 6 or 7 weekends and its been running pretty good other than having to change the fuel pump.

hey man the only pics I have are the ones on here. That was years ago sorry. I dont have the boat anymore someone came along and made an offer on it I couldn't refuse
