Default Kiekhaefer Trim / Tab hydraulic pumps

Does anyone have a good source for these units new or used? Before I spend almost as much $ trying to rebuild and reuse the old units, can I buy these somewhere? If not, do you know where I can get new clear plastic reservoirs for the bottom of the pumps? Thanks,

OR, can I send them to someone for a re-furb?

You see them used here from time to time.....Cp performance has the reservoirs and also pumps. There are a couple aftermarket new ones in the classifieds also.

$700 to rebuild?? is that the ENTIRE pump including the hydraulics??? most times that part (Hydraulics) doesn't go bad. I had the motor part rebuilt by a shop that does starter and alternator repairs for like $110 once a few years back when I was under a time crunch....the rest I just re-used as was.

No, to purchase the pump complete new (I just mentioned that it may be a re-manufacture). Not saying that is a bad price, it just all adds up quick. I would have probably $4K in new trim and tab pumps, etc. Going to try and salvage what I have. Don't think the pumps are bad, just want to check seals, solenoids, repaint, dress up, etc. Looking for a purchase option instead of doing all that work and running around.

they are the same pump. on a drive the up side is the higher pressure (fighting the prop pushing down) so usually you use the up side of the pump for the down side on a tab as the down is takes the most pressure on a tab.

Gotcha, just take off the reservoir and plug it? I figured they were the same but that maybe the lower cap was different to eliminate the reservoir. I'll have to take mine off and get them on the bench.
