Default Scarab 22 Procharger or big block

My 1998 Scarab 22 has a 350 Mag MPI with low hours and a Bravo 1 drive. The boat runs ok, but I would like more. Which would be the better upgrade, a Procharger on my small block or a repower with a big block?

350 Mag MPI is 300hp right? I had a 97 22' Checkmate with a "base" 454 big block rated @ 300hp with Procharger added. Boat was so much fun to drive. The midrange punch was unreal, not to mention the sound.
If your motor is low hrs the Procharger might me a good option. Small boat with a light small block with 450-500hp should run hard.
Mine would run 77 w/ a 28p Bravo.

Slightly concerned about height also. I would like to keep the stock sun deck. Will that fit under my engine hatch?
