Guys my 502 is in the garage for the winter for some tweaks while I repaint and re wire the engine compartment, I have tried 3 cradles so far and none fit, mainly due to the coupler and accessories,, what do you guys use?

make a cradle that fits, shouldn't take more than a half hour.

I bought the cheapys from JEGS and trimmed a little off so the flywheels and coupler can stay on

If you don't need to move it around ,just block it under the mounts and bottom of bellhousing .Couple short lengths of 6x6 with 2x4 on top under mounts and another 2x4 under bellhousing...cheap and ez. Screw (wood screws)the motor mounts to blocking if sitting on wood makes you nervous. If you do want it moveable ,put it on a platform truck .Most "cradles" you buy won't hold a fully dressed motor ...

I had to do this same thing. I was pissed the first time the motor was hanging and I couldn't get it to fit. A grinder made quick work of it, now she slides right in.

I use this one from Jegs for transport and storage, my engine is on it now fully dressed. The only thing that gets in the way is the block drain on one side. Once you pull that it bolts right up to the engine.

the cheep 1" Tubing units that bend and flex every time you try to use them. Check these out

I used some furniture dollies (1000lbs capacity) with a board on top but the casters are too small. Same size as above but it doesn`t roll very easy..rrentsch do you make any other model with bigger casters?
