Maybe I read it wrong .I thought sprink58 was wanting to run his 255 up to 100.

Mike...looks like it would on paper with 1400# of torque and over 1200 horsepower...what does it take to push a 353 FasTech 85-90 MPH?

According to Formula's 2009 Spec Guide a 353 with twin Merc 600SCI's running 5 blade 31" Lab Props they get 86-89 MPH.

What's wrong with my/their math/testing?

LOL...it's kool!! I wouldn't be in a 255 Formula Liberator going 100 MPH !!! Now...I might sit in another boat and make a video of some other "Expert" doing it...but not me....I'm a firm believer in Newton's First Law of Motion!! LOL
