Default Remove exhaust bellow because of vaccum (no y-pipe installed)??

I have heard that vaccum can occur behind the propeller if you have the exhaust bellow on but have pluged the y-pipe, is this true and will it made any difference at all if I remove the bellow? Formula 271 Sr1 -93 with 454 magnum carb. 365 hp / Bravo 1.

I used to have silent choice, now have the Y-pipes capped with the exhaust bellows installed, and have not seen any cavitation issues that I am aware of.
