I've got an 82 ssv167 I poured hours of love and sweat into and repowered with a 150 ocean pro

I had a 1979 19' Sea Rider Deep Vee in those colors with a 225hp Merc. Awesome boat!

So last fall it felt like the transom might have been a little soft - turns out parts of it were actually fairly rotten. Had them pop the top cap off and replace the transom and the rear portion of the floor. Three other things they did while they were in there were make a proper drain in the motor well so it wont hold water, put in a proper brass drain plug, and mount the bilge pump level so it can actually get all of the water out of the hull. There was a metal plate over the transom from years ago to try and save it, now that everything has been replaced we no longer need it. Spring 2020 we will upgrade the stereo with a new amp, give her a good polish and ceramic coating and she will be at the Baysville Classic Boat Show in July!

So this could not be anymore true about the floor. One thing i wish we had done was had the seat bases re-enforced before we put the carpeting in. About a year after we did the resto, the fiberglass holding the driver seat in snapped. Had to cut a bit of the carpet up and have the whole seat base re fiber glassed in. Luckily, we were able to cut it in a couple spots where you cant see it.
