Hot Donzi on Lake Minnetonka last Sat
Saw an unbelievable Donzi on Lake Minnetonka last Saturday about 2:00pm. It was very new, about a 35 twin screw with hood scoops. The primary color was blue. By far the hottest boat to ever be on our lake.
Does anyone know who this is? Wondering if he is on this board.

Saw the boat again last weekend. It's a Daytona, I think a 38 ZX. A 38ZX probably isn't a big deal for some areas, but this is by far the hottest boat on our lake, and the only boat with hatch scoops. Very cool. I'm going to try and meet him and maybe get a ride. I'll get some pics.

There are quite a few sweet boats on that lake. Two years ago before I moved to FL I spent alot of time on that lake. There was is at least one 36 nortech Cat, A couple 42 fountains, one or two 382 formula fastech's, a couple cigs and a bunch of older clean scarabs. If you look hard enough you will find them all. Most of the big stuff play during the week when the water patrol is not around.

There are some 40' plus dual and triple supercharged boats out on Tonka. And yes they have the hood scoops on the hatch. Don't see them much but they are usually flying around on the east side by crystal, browns, and lower lake. They seem to go fastest when they are closer to shore vs. thru the middle of a bay. The rooster tail and noise is less noticeable to the sherriff boats.
Visit here to see the big guys and yes a few of them are from Minnetonka. http://www.apostleislandspokerrun.com/
They are usually playing on st. croix river, redwing, and lake pepin. Go to that poker run on July 27th. It's cool as hell to watch.
You will see me on tonka usually on Sunday. I'm in a Red/White 24' Donzi Black Widow. Perfect size and type of boat for that lake.

Joel,
Thanks for the link. Had no idea Superior had that kind-of hardware on it.
Yes, I have seen some nice stuff at Pepin, including about a 40' Hustler last year.
I will look for you on Tonka. We launch at Maxwell bay and will be out this Sunday. I have a 22 Scarab.
A couple bad pictures attached:
