I would love to know if anyone is slinging 90+ in that hull. I have heard it has been done a few times.

I somehow think that one that Eddie is putting together will crack 90 easy.

and I know it is not working at 85. I was moving along and just smooched it up. I still had a way to go and that was with that cut down 30

I was all worried that I might have to put on big training wheels but it was very settled.

I will still do the planes though. Just waiting on a deal like those ones I was carrying around the other day.

I sent you some pics Trevor. I was wondering how yours was going. Mine seems pretty happy at the stock X with standard lower. X is still high enough where I have to work it up on a plane yet am not getting prop slap/surface piercing problems.

I know another guy with a more agressive X, he has had to go to a 5 blade. He is not running near the power that you and I are pushing so I don't know how his boat does in the 80's.

I may try a 5 blade this fall. It will be one of those special days when I feel like risking my drive. It just might break 100.

I am going for some real tabs. Mine does run smooth until you hit a bunch of cross wakes and you have to ease back to get it settled. Not really a good feeling at 90. I have had it moderately out of control this way. I think that Eddie and John have had it way out of control.

Keep me posted on yours.

Bill

Default Ooops !!!!

Hi Bill .Have been monitoring your progress which i must say
has been pretty impressive .Mine has had a turn for the worse
as i blew my motor up whilst racing or flying a lot !!. You guys forgot to set the rev limit in my ECU when it was remapped !
Am now installing a 525efi and will see how she runs then .
I had jacked my extention box up in what i think was a successful attempt to cure my chinning.Am thinking will be needing a 5 blader then but what pitch . . . suck it and see i
rekon .
Regards Trevor
