1996. That would be pre-step. I had one of the last 97's before the twin step. Mine was a tank and loved lots of power. They did some things well on mine and omitted some funny things. Mine had a fairing, nice big bolsters and 28 Kplanes but no indicators. It handled the way a boat should handle.

I hear it likes a beefed up 468.

I so miss the way the 27ZX cabin was rigged. Running wires in the 26ZX cabin is horrible. It was never intended to come back apart. Not to mention that your cabin is pornalicious!

It was actually a complicated several step process that started with a squeegee and ended up with some special sanitizers. I am pretty sure that the "Like it never even happened" people got involved somewhere.

One of the conditions of the sale was the Mike would leave the Zebra stripe interior in place. He has done so and actually improved on it.

It is a good thing that he did not bring it to AOTH. I am pretty sure that it would have made Tom (Fishin Sucks) feel so inadequate that he would not have come out of his room all weekend.

Its a good thing we didn't know the extent of Bill's reputation before we bought the boat. But luckily the cabin is mostly fiberglass which is easy to clean.

A couple of trips to the dry cleaners and the cushions were deemed safe to use. Tested under a black light of course.

The boat has really woke up with the beefed up 468 under the hatch. 540 or 565 would have been nice but just wasn't in the cards this go round. Still sorting through some repowering issues but should be dialed in very soon.

We spend many a wekend on the boat over the summer. The cabin is really one of the reasons we bought the boat. Plenty of room for two people under there. Plus plenty of room for supplies if your creative with your packing.
