man does that bring back memories....i had the exact same boat but with a windshield at LOTO in the 70's and early 80's....i think mine had a 289 in it though....fun little boat back then...and probably put 2000 hours on it...blew one engine in all that time.....but yea i think today you would have issues finding parts

To much money and to far away. If you want to go out on the ocean a lot they are not great but for lakes they are a blast. The volvo is not the fastest drive out there but they are strong. Some have power trim some do not. If you want to try mine out it should be in the water soon we can go for a rip.

Hey Audio the one im loooking at is similar to that but not that one. Im looking to spend not nearly that much as the cafe is eating cash like its a good time. Im looking aroun 4-5'ish, the guy said it needs a power tilt trim pump. Its a 351w volvo drive with 850 carb cam and high rise intake.

Mike, The boat your looking at I believe was once advertised with an
overheating issue...possible head gasket...just ask the seller to make sure.
It also would look alot better without that hood scoop. The air filter may
make it too tall with a high rise to use a stock engine cover. George

boy with all the guys up the lake and you buying one when I sell the baja, or part it out haha I'll buy a 20 sutphen or 18 donz and put the 509 in it with my old b1. in case the wife hates the 28 saber 1200hp, I finally told her about the boat after buying it 6 mons before and told her about the blower motor after 1yr and 8 mons. I just couldn't live with myself anymore. oh when should I tell her I bought a konrad ace drive package 11months ago. well its fathers day and she did ask what I wanted. have fun boys oh mike going to pick up motor friday will post dyno hp this week anywhere from 1137 to 1200 hp on pump gas race will be HIGHER, I will de tune for konrad I think. just got to add rubber bands on the stick to make it hard to push throttle to quick. kurt is doing this hahaha. thanks kurt for the push my b1 x would never come close to handle this power. well we started out at 950hp but after time went by DEAN is like a mad scientist if we change the cam do the heads custom carbs moohoo haaahaaa vee wilt have zee monster mottah. I will start a new thread sorry mike for getting off track. art
