Trying to find the right props, right now I am running herring 16x37's. What are you running and what is the performance like? I also have a tough time getting on plane with full fuel and crew.... Any insight is appreciated. Tks

Herring seem to have less slip than mercury. Herring 17" dia, 37, 16 deg. = 107 mph (fairly light load), 104 loaded. I was told 17 1/2" dia for the comp, I am trying a set of 17 1/2 dia. this week. No problem getting on plane but blows out.
