Default Anyone ever put big power in 33ZX?

I wanted to hear from someone who has or knows anyone who has put bigger power, say 700+ a side in a 33ZX hull. Wondering how the hull handles with that kind of power and how much power it actually takes to put one solidly into the 90+ mph range? I have a 2000 33 Daytona with 500efi's and I'm thinking about a power upgrade in the future. I'm thinking about big inch NA motors but I'm afraid that would really hurt the value of the boat. A better option may be to rebuild my 500's with a set of M3 pro-chargers. Any input or even opinions would be appreciated so let em fly guys.

There is a lot to consider when your going to install 700 hp in a boat that is set up for 500 hp.
The rigging, the drives, the hull, and the props have to work together Inorder to achieve the objected and safe results. We take all these factors into consideration for our race boats and our clients race boats when installing different horsepower.
For instance, We worked on a Cigarette Topgun with similar changes. Went from 600 hp to 850 hp. GREAT success ! Achieved from 76 on GPS to 94.

I hope this was information was helpful.

There is a very similar 99 straight bottom gun locally that runs big inch NA motors. I would guess he is running around 800hp a side. That boat runs right about 90 on flat water.... There was a 2001 33 Daytona locally that came from the factory with 600sc's they where redone making around 650hp at 4psi boost. It was a matter of a few weeks time that I didn't end up with that boat. New owner supposedly put super chillers on it and runs 8psi boost and I hear it is running 94mph now. I hear the 33 Daytonas with factory 575sci's will run right around 90 but I'm not sure if that is stock or with mods.

I am a fan of the whipple chargers in all aspects but the price of the kits. I have a hook up on pro-charger kits so that is a big plus. My thoughts on resale value are with the pro-chargers I could very easily remove the chargers and return the motors to stock 500efi's. Another option is to just set my 500's aside for resale and put the big inch NA motors in.

I occasionally get too much stern lift right and 90 (GPS) and have to back out as the bow will start to rise and fall from this. I'm pretty sure this could be labb'd out of the prop, but my Maximus are stock at this point. If I can avoid the stern lift situation 92 is pretty easy and and the boat feels just like it does at 70. I think the limiting factor over for the speed of this boat is more the power and drive setup. No issues with the hull going fast.
