Condor the fastest props were Ron Hill Signature Series 4 blade pro ET copies 14.5 x 32s. The 5 blades were Maximus and were not as fast as the 4 blades. I wouldn't go back to the 280s' myself as the rebuild schedule is short 110 to 150 hours dependant on compression. I have been running 225 promaxes for 4 years after running and blowing up modded 260s' (2 sets' of powerheads) and have only changed the plugs once and LU fluid every 4 or 5 hours of run time. The 280s' will smoke the drive fluid at 8250 in one hard outing. I'm moving to 300s' as you can never have enough power. Lol. You have arguably one of the best rough water cats out there. Enjoy!!!!

On topic of power.
I love warranty motors and the 300XS can be had with up to five years of warranty.
They also sip the gas at 100 getting about 3.2 to 3.3 MPG burn rate depending on conditions.
One last note on the 300X you will be hard pressed to find a powerhead if anything happens to either one of those motors.
All sales of 300X powerheads require a core or get ready to pay top top dollar for one without a core trade in. When my motors fall out of warranty. I will probably sell them and get two new warranty motors.
Hard to beat 5 years of trouble free boating.

Hey Ben:
Great meeting you! PBC is a world class operation and everyone we dealt with was super nice and friendly.
We do not know if we will come out for 2016 but if we do we will certainly book at Miramar.
Thanks for the shout out.
