Drive oil leak in extension boxes?

I seem to be leaking oil of some type into my extension boxes. It tastes like drive oil, but I run Amsoil & it is clear/yellowish so it is hard to tell if it is drive oil or trim oil.
I could look at the trim tank, but I can barely get to it to take the cap off, let alone check it. Thanks Baja I guess that is what I get for having a "elb"
