I just had a new Bravo XR installed (submerged object took out my old XR) and was looking to add a new shower to the drive.
I spoke with Paul at Simrek (I never met or spoke to him before now) http://www.driveshowers.com/ and he said if we can gather up 10 members that are interested in a new drive shower, he'll offer a deep discount. The Halo Max is normally $199.95. Normally you need to buy buy 5 and ship to a single location to get the discounted price of $139.95 plus free shipping.
He said if we have 10 members interested in buying either a Halo Max or Summit Max (normally $179.95) he would sell his drive showers to the 10 members at the discounted price of $139.95 for the Halo Max and $134.95 for the Summit Max including free shipping to the 10 locations.
If you're interested, post your forum name here and I'll gather the list of interested buyers and provide them to Paul so we can all benefit from the discount

Great.... as soon as I have 10 forum names, I'll give Paul your name from the list and when you call him to order, just give him your forum name and you can place the order at the discounted price.

The problem I have with the Simrek or any halo is that they do not put any water on the top cap !!!! I don't know about you guys, but my top cap gets hot because of no cooling water. Looks like I need to design a top cap that puts water on top of a finned XR cap to keep it cool.

I read the information on the Simrek site. It's quite clear why the Simrek directs the water on the thinner drive wall sides: much better cooling of the oil.
Read the information on the site, it explains pretty clearly the whys and wherefores of their design. Also, I don't know of any other shower that has 2 patents awarded to their design.
