There all just a copy of Mercury, none of them are worth 2cents. They just are trying to out do Mercury which is the best. I've worked on them all. Been in the drive service now for over 35 years. I've seen them all. None can hold up to over 600hp. They all have their stories If you want a drive to hold up from 600 to 800 and have no problems, than Konrad is the way to go. They have it together. We have seen no problems in our applications in high hp performance boats. Call me at; 954 237 0332

The steel tower Max Machine Worx installs makes the stock merc xr tower look like a joke, combined with their billet torsional shafts and bigger 7/16 cap studs, giant cap and bigger caged upper gear bearings they have made their version of a upgraded xr drive handle more power than a stock xr ever could. There is ALWAYS room for improvement. With enough power they all break, including KONRAD,Smitty

I'm sure the Konrad is a good drive but for half the cash and a direct bolt on I don't think you can beat a B-Max. I don't think the Konrad can take the power a B-Max can. My $.02

II'm sure they all have a place in the market... in loto last year
I was told 17,500 / side for the Konrad, At the MIBS was told 28+k for konrad per side....thats no deal in my book could buy a good set of VI's or Arneson's for that $$

but given Awsome's 2 1/2 seasons (and counting) of hard driving.... B-max looks like the ticket.... and all for About 24K and 5 hours in the back machine shop

I could blow up a Bravo just by hitting the trim button. They are not even close to my B-Max. Three years at 720 HP and 727 tourque super charged. Not even close!!!!
