Exclamation XR sportmaster @" shortie came loose????

Any one ever heard of the 1/2" nylock nuts coming loose on drive, lost one completley & others on ther way off, lost all my drive fluid.Running a super charged 540 in a 25' baja outlaw,
seems to run smooth not alot of vibration, dual ram external steering, thought maybe someone tried to steal it but thinking back not possible, had the drive off a few times same nuts ?????.

You should change the nuts every time you remove them, nylocks are one tie use only. Also the ones on the bravo are thinner then normal and they use very thing washers. If you are just using off the shelf hardware the nylock won't have nay bite on the threads and they will come loose like you experienced.

This has happened to me. As Billy said, please use new nuts every time, and you will not have another problem.

I use red or blue loctite as cheap insurance on all nuts and studs including propshaft nuts.
