Default #6 dry-sump drive weight

I'm going to ship a pair of #6 swept-back skeg, dry-sump drives and would like to know what the weight of just the drive is. Does anyone know? Thanks.

Wetsump was 250 to 260 Holds about 4 gallons of oil.

Water 8Lbs per gallon
Fuel 6 lbs per gallon

Either way subtract a few pounds add your Skid / crate
should be right at the 300 plus mark as RunninHotRacing158
mentioned.

Thanks for the help. I made an enclosed crate for both drives and had it weighed on a digital scale. The total weight was 680lb's. Shipping from Minneapolis, Mn. to Inglis, Fla. was $380. I thought that price was very fair.

G.K. the price sounds more then fair and sounds like there heading to 15 Mary St but put insurance on ... The shipping company only insuresbare minimum if your weight is 680 lbs your automatically insured for $68.00 .. Call Ron Yager at Freightqoute 800-323-5441 X 1659 i have 2 leaving this morning headed to Randy and the addtl ins was less then 100.00 its hard to hurt them in the crate but i've seen holes from forks thru the crate and forklift tire marks on the crate ..
