Default TRS Needs Face Lift

Can I use Air Plane stripper to strip all the paint off of my TRS with out actually taking them completely apart?

I would think you could use any stripper on them.I wouldn't get it on the prop shaft seal and input shaft seal though. Not sure if it would hurt them or not.Probably not.You could probably even have it sandblasted if you masked off the seals.Be sure to use Zinc Chromate primer on the bare aluminum.Mercury Phantom Black spray paint works real well.It makes for real smooth super high gloss finish.
