Default Xr Prop Shaft Size?

Is The Bravo Xr Prop Shaft The Same Size As The Ones In The Alphas And Bravo1, same diameter and number of teeth , I Am Looking To Buy A Used Prop And Want To Make Sure It Will Fit, Thanks

Not sure about the spline count but the XR propshaft is bigger than Bravo 1 or X. I believe it's 1-1/4" in diameter. You can probably to use the same prop, you just need to make sure you have the right prop hub. Ex: The Bravo-4 blade props I have, were run on XR drives previously, I just had to change the hubs to run them on my X drives.

So the prop i have on my boat now should have an existing 1.25 hub in it now? i have a bravo 1 24p prop and am thinking of swith over to a hydro quad 22p. im only getting 4500 rpm and am thinking of trying less pitch

Regular bravo prop shafts and XR prop shafts are NOT compatible (1 inch vs 1.25 inches)......most props have removable hubs and you can simply change the hub to the appropriate one for your drive.

No.

Standard Bravo/Alpha is a 1" and XR is 1.25"
