Default TRS Fluids.

What are the options on types of fluids? Those little 10 oz tubes of Mercruisers at 9 bucks each would add up. What options are there. Someone said quick silver in quat bottles from Wal mart. It is an 85 twin boat.

Never heard of Wal Mart carrying quick silver fluid. You need to go to an actual boat store that carrys Mercury High Performance Gear Lube in Qt. bottles. It's about $16-$17 per quart. 3 Qts.in the drive and 1 in the reservoir times 2 or about $135 bucks!!

I saw some of it at the Wally World last time I was in there getting Mobil 1 for the motors. I was shoked to say the leaste. I guess that when everyone is hurting like so many are and a company calls up and says hey we will buy x thousands of bottles they get what they want.

Yeah I've noticed the local Wal-mart has Quicksilver products as well, but I don't think they had any gear lube. Just oil and 2-cycle oil. Bass Pro sells it just as proud tho, $14 a quart :ack2:

Just left wally world the quick silver in quarts was for outboard lowers, it did not say gl 5 or stern, or 80w90. The other oil they had was super tech.
