Banana Arneson's on Cigarette Top Gun - Flat Bottom

Is there anyone with a non-step 38 foot Cigarette Top Gun that converted their bravos to Arneson Drives and DID NOT CHAGE THEIR HORSEPOWER? If so, what was your results in speed, handling and was it worth the high cost?

I do not know of anyone that just stayed with their power with the Cigarette's but there are many people that have with other types of boats that worked great.

Upgrading the power will not affect the handling, but none the less they handle very well with the bigger power.

I currently have 2 605 hp blown roller motors on a 1994 38 foot Cig. TOP GUN. Do you have any idea of what type of speed I would get, as the boat is heavy.

? What type of speeds and outdrives do you have now? I'm the farthest thing from an expert on the Cigarettes but I can tell you what the speed increases tend to be based upon the current propulsion. Bravo's 10 mph, TRS's 15-20 mph.

I have bravo's, I would be happy with 10mph and a rooster tail.

It is not unrealistic. The rooster tail is a given the speed is what is normally seen.
