You should make jewelry out of them! And sell them to blingety-bling Outerlimits owners!

I'm working on that right now, I'm the curator of the display

I think were up to about 6 or 8 sets, not all of them are mine,
but they all have a story to tell

The most prolific storys are like at the GLOC poker run,
when we totalled out an upper

When the pinion gear attempts to climb over about the third tooth on the XR driven gear, it will usually spit the pinion gear out the front of the case. The retainer threaded area is much thinner than a B1 case. Poof, there goes another $1k.
I have seen several with destroyed upper cases.
My theory is with a B1 if you have too much power, the teeth get knocked off. If the upper isnt setup properly or it has loosened up too much, or driver input is not respectable, this can cause a failure of the helical gears. I have friends running 900+hp thru a properly setup B1 and they live.

With the much stronger XR gears, a tooth breaks off at the root, because they are selling an inferior product. Used to be, the XR gears would handle 1000hp. Now they have trouble with 500hp. Just my .02.. hate to rant.

Yes, twice....last one was at the GLOC poker run.

Just like what Mr. G. described, the aftermath looked
like we suddenly transported to the Gulf of Mexico
