Default How Much Speed Will I Pick Up

I have a 2" spacers on a Trs drives. The boat is a 28 Pantera with 468s turning Bravo 24 also the props turn in. If I remove the spacers how much speed do you think pick up and how hard is it to remove the spacers ???

You very well might lose speed and have a harder time getting on plane.

I went from stock length lowers to Imco 1" shorter lowers and lost 3-4 mph and had to go to 5 blade props to plane out in same time as before.

Next year I am going back to stock length and may even add spacers to put drives in deeper to gain bow lift.

First thing I would do is swap drives and spin them out. A 28 Pantera with twins does not need bow lift and that is what spinning in does.

Taking out the spacers depends on how far below the boattom you currently are. 2" is a huge change.

You need to know were you are at now before making any changes. Measure your drive depth and get back with us. If the propshafts are really deep removing them may help, but if they are correctlly setup you may not be able to plane the boat off.
