Default Blackhawk parts?

Ok, I have some questions about the Blackhawk drives.

1) Do they use Bravo 1 and Bravo 3 internals?

2) If they use Bravo parts...then in theory I'd just need to find a good case, right?

3) Where in the world can I get props? I heard you can make them from Bravo 3 props; but a couple prop shops told me no.

4) Does anyone know what the X dimension is on them?

Thanks!
Zach

Most parts are B3 parts, exept for the upper shaft.

A thing to consider. One reason why the blackhawk drive was discontiued after only one year, is because it did not work on alot of boat designs. Most boats that where fitted with them, where built for the BH drive. Props for the BH are scarce and have not been made for years, and you can't make BH props form B3 props. If you are thnking about a BH, why not just go with an imco -2 shorty on a B1, and install it with a high x-dim like 19½-20"? Then you would be surfacing the prop. Just a thought.

Found all my answers.

I have located some drives and some props - I'm thinking this drive is just what my 21' cat needs...

I sure would like to know how that works out... Seems like the perfect setup to me.
I'm working on putting twin LS1s and bravos in a 24 Skater.

I hope so... It's been a long road.
I'm reworking the back of it to look similar to the bigger Skaters.

I will keep you up to date - I don't expect to begin this until October at the earliest. Just can't stomach downing a perfectly good boat when the weather is still good.
