The Teague Platinum is an upgraded Bravo. I don't know their exact specs, but they offered it as standard equipment behind the early Ilmor V10's, so they'll stand behind them over 600hp. I've seen examples run up around 1000hp, but I don't know for how long.

As with any bravo drive, though, it's probably a fine choice for a small V-hull or cat with high power, but not the best for a big offshore rig due to torque limitations and propeller size options.

Yes they will handle more power than a stock bravo. They are built with XR gears and Teague designed shafts. They sell them behind their motors up to 900hp. Boat weight, hp, water conditions, and mostly the driver have a big impact on how long it will live.
