should I go for imco shorties
have a 38 cat, step hull with a 2' notch, a little bow heavy, planes off super easy, T- 575sci's upgraded to about 650hp turning 34 B-1's, with bravo x drives, top end 105 at 5400,crusies 70 at 4000, would really like to up the cruise speed but not so much the rpm's. anyone have an idea what I might expect if I go with shorties and of course a prop change probabley to a 30 5-b short tube maximus

You could buy empty cases, a short shaft and just install the parts you have in your current drives. But a pair of complete cases might be easier to unload, that being your current cases or the IMCOs if you don't want them.
