Default Bravo help please

Just to make sure about this, a bravo 2 upper is the same as a bravo one. If the gear ratios are the same etc. A friend just got a bravo 2 1.5 diesel x drive and cant use it because of wrong ratio. I don't care about the lowers since I use a shorty. Hope someone can confirm this before I get it.
Thanks
David

David,
according to this chart from Bam's Site. The 1.5 Diesel B2x uses the same upper gear set as the B1x 1.36. The teeth on the pinion gear are bit shorter than the 32/27 set. I choose to make a 1.36 by swapping out the lower gear set.

Other than that, the upper is the same as the B1x.

Hope that helps.
Dick

I have a 1.50 sporty so by combining the two drives I would have a 1.36 which means re propping. Not what I wanted to hear. I was hopping a 1.50 b2x was the same as a b1. Do I have that right?

Thanks for all this info. I was ble to get a 32 tooth upper bravo x upper. So that will give me a final ratio of 1.50. According to this I will have to change the gimbal bearing to make it work right? Anything else?
